Just in Time For I Love to Read Month February 15, 2023
Stan Hildebrand one of our long-time employee-owners and night-shift production manager at Printers Way, was invited to read the children’s book he wrote called Lil’ Dragon at the Maple Leaf School in Morden on February 9th. The school had him set up in the library for the afternoon where he read to 5 groups of children from kindergarten to Grade 4. They were able to coordinate 2 – 4 classes per session.
In Stan’s own words, he called it an “awesome experience” to interact with the children and added that they asked some great questions, shared their own stories and comments and had a great time.
The next school on Stan’s list is the Minnewasta School in Morden on February 16th. We’re positive that it will be another awesome experience – we’re just wondering when he has time to sleep!
Stan wrote the book, Lil’ Dragon last year and had it printed right here at Friesens. He credits his family for their support and inspiration throughout the process and tells us that his second book is already in the works! Your fan base is growing steadily Stan!
