We love this time of year…the leaves start to change colour, we can break out our cozy sweaters, and don’t even get us started on all things pumpkin spice. But also, we love it because it’s the return of the Friesens Cover Contest for another year!
This contest is one of our favourite traditions…a chance to spotlight the creativity, dedication, and design talent that goes into every yearbook cover. Let’s be honest, though…picking the winners is never easy because the entries are always so amazing!
Keep these deadlines in mind…if you are a Spring Delivery school, submit your cover before Friday, December 12 to be entered. Fall Delivery schools, you’ve got a bit more time…your deadline to submit your cover is Friday, February 13!
Our panel of judges (featuring two brand new ones this year) are experts in design, colour theory, and all things artistic, will be looking at creativity, concept, composition, and difficulty. First up are the Regionals, where the top three from each region will move on to the national stage where they’ll complete for $1,000, $500, or $250 for their school. Winners will be announced on Monday, March 30, 2026.
