The latest addition to Friesens’ “fleet” of technology is a pair of robots designed to help staff on the binding line. Where once we had to manually place bundles of sections into the binding machine, these new state-of-the-art machines will automatically lift the bundles into the appropriate spaces in the line, thus increasing the efficiency, health and safety of our employee-owners by eliminating the repetitive lifting and twisting that could have an adverse effect on the operators. These robots, like all others in our facility, are designed to work WITH our owner-operators to make our facilities safer and more efficient.
