FRIESENS WINS TWO “BEST OF CATEGORY” AWARDS AT THE PRINTING INDUSTRIES OF AMERICA INTERNATIONAL PRINT COMPETITION

Friesens recently received two 2016 “Best of Category” Awards (known as the Benny) at the Premier Print Awards for outstanding achievement in the production of Can You Dig It (Cookbook) and MIT Technique 2016 (High School Yearbooks).

The graphic arts industry’s largest and most prestigious international printing competition, the Premier Print Awards recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of superior print communications.

Competing against thousands of entries from printing and graphic art firms around the world, Friesens received a total of 13 awards which honours the top finalists in each of the categories of the competition. This year, nearly 3,000 entries were received from printing and graphic arts firms from around the world.

Michael Makin, President and CEO of Printing Industries of America writes, “We were astounded by the quality of entries this year, the creativity, design and innovation displayed made the competition extremely difficult to judge because there were so many spectacular submissions.”

Friesens also received the Award of Recognition (2) and Certificate of Merit (9) in the 2016 Premier Print Awards.
