Minnesota Yearbook Camp 2026

Whether you’re a first-time staffer or a seasoned editor, you’ll leave feeling inspired, prepared, and ready to create a yearbook that truly tells the story of your school year.

Katie Moreno (MJE) spent six years building an award-winning journalism program and is now an education consultant, as the founder of Organized Adviser. She is passionate about creating highly interactive and hands-on learning experiences for publication staffs.

But when she’s not nerding out over yearbooks, you can find her 50 feet deep scuba diving, collecting pins from every city she visits, or drinking too much iced coffee.

Evan has been a dedicated employee-owner at Friesens for over a decade, building strong, lasting partnerships with yearbook advisers from schools across North America.

Now serving advisers and students in Minnesota and North Dakota, Evan is passionate about understanding what drives you yearbook team. He’s committed to providing customized tools and tailored support to help you capture the year and share your school’s best story with the world.

His enthusiasm for the entire process is second to none, as be bring unequalled energy to the classroom. Away from yearbooks, Kerry enjoys freelance writing, sports of all kinds, and fishing.
