Follow the workflow! Work in the high tech labs of Ryerson University to make a custom book with your student/teacher colleagues. From capturing the perfect photo, to laying out your spread, follow 4th year GCM students and your Friesens experts as we guide you through the manufacturing process including prepress, press and bindery and offer you a hands on experience you can take back to the classroom!
What to Bring:
As this year’s conference will be a very interactive experience you should bring along some of your own yearbook building tools:
- Camera and/or camera phone to take pictures (batteries/memory cards for cameras)
- Cable to transfer photos from your camera/camera phone to the computer
- Laptops and charging cables
- Adobe suite on your laptops – if available to you (if not, the lab computers at Ryerson will be used as well)
It is up to each attendee to book their own accommodations if they intend to stay overnight in Toronto. There is a hotel available on campus (additional cost):
If you intend to stay over at the Bond Hotel please check the box in the registration, if we have enough interested attendees there is a group rate we may be able to take advantage of.
