FUN IN THE CLASSROOM

Yearbook is supposed to be fun…right? It’s so easy to forget that when we are in the middle of deadlines, tracking down photos, proofreading, and all the other details that cannot be overlooked when creating a yearbook.

Injecting some fun mid year to your yearbook class is a great way to keep everyone engaged and focused on the finish line. Here are some ideas to bring some additional fun into the classroom:

• Schedule a class pot-luck. A great way to do this is to encourage everyone to bring a dish representing their culture or background.
• Set aside a spot in the room to post fun stuff! Great photos of the yearbook staff, fun quotes and especially an area for Kudos to those for a job well done.
