Shape Your Vision
Choosing the right size for your yearbook goes beyond just picking dimensions…it’s about making sure your design, theme, and content all work together in a way that feels intentional and exciting. Bold, oversized formats can make a statement, while sleek, compact sizes offer a clean and portable look. Custom sizing gives you the freedom to match your school’s personality and bring your creative vision to life.
Classic Cover Choices
Friesens offers two standard yearbook sizes: 8.5″ x 11″ and 9″ x 12″. The 8.5″ × 11″ size is a classic choice…easy to carry, fits in backpacks and lockers, and works well with most design software. The 9″ × 12″ size gives you a bit more room to play with layouts, photos, and creative elements, making it ideal for bold themes or schools that want a standout look.

Sized to Stand Out
Some Friesens schools have gone beyond the standard sizes and opted for custom dimensions to make their yearbooks truly stand out. Popular custom formats include 11″ × 8.5″ (landscape orientation), 12″ × 9″, and square (to a maximum size of 13” x 13”).
