Book Pedaler

As Vancouver grows, it is getting more and more challenging to get around by car at certain times of day. In the last few years, our mayor has pushed through the addition of more and more biking lanes across the city. Now city biking is much safer and can be a more efficient method to attend some client meetings and get a bit of exercise along the way. My steed is an old ’69, steel (40 lbs.) Raleigh with a front cargo rack — “Sir Reginald of Raleigh.” He may be bit hard to get going, but cruises once up to speed, but he’s perfect for packing a few book samples and dropping off courier packages. My goal is to attend meetings without breaking a sweat and save it for the way back to the office! Although we haven’t had the greatest weather, I do hope to hop on “Reggie” more often to see of all of our Vancouver area publishers.

Happy trails to you all!
