Telescopic Boxes

Telescopic Fit & Finish

Telescopic boxes are a sturdy, stylish way to package books, especially yearbooks, collector editions, or kits. Made with rigid board and a separate lid that fits over the base, they offer solid protection and a clean, professional look. With custom wraps and finishes available, they’re a great choice for projects that need to stand out.

How Are Telescopic Boxes Made?

Telescopic boxes are made in two separate pieces…a base and a lid…each constructed from rigid chipboard, typically ranging from 80pt to 120pt depending on the book’s size and weight. The board is cut and scored to form clean edges and folds, then wrapped in printed or cloth-style material. Corners are tucked and glued by hand or machine to ensure a neat finish. The lid is designed to fit snugly over the base, creating a secure and polished presentation.

Why Add a Telescopic Box?

A telescopic box adds a polished, professional touch to any book project. It’s especially well-suited for yearbooks, commemorative editions, photo books, boxed sets, and gift-ready titles. These boxes offer solid protection and elevate the presentation, making the book feel more substantial and collectible.
